Teaching at the Institute

The Institute for International Peace and Security Law is dedicated to researching and teaching issues of international law related to peacekeeping, in collaboration with leading research institutions both domestically and internationally. This involves engaging in dialogue with adjacent disciplines such as ethics, history, and political science of international relations.

Professor Kreß offers lectures within specialization field no. 9 (International and European Law) and 14 (International Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, practical areas of criminal law), as well as general criminal law. These lectures are primarily aimed at students of the Faculty of Law at the University of Cologne. However, due to the interdisciplinary nature of the subject matter, some events are also open to students from other faculties.
